reports, April 4, 2003Another month has passed and the third of four free 'The Animatrix' episodes has been released for download.
'The Animatrix' is a compilation of nine animation episodes based on 'The Matrix' universe, all made in different animation techiniques. So far, four have been released in total, three of them available for download: 'The Second Renaissance - Part One', 'Program', 'The Final Flight of The Osiris' (which can still be seen in the theaters, just before 'Dreamcatcher' starts) and, today, 'A Detective Story'.

But, yeah, the animation in Detective Story is absolutely wonderful. It accurately captures the style of old detective noir movies. Wonderful.
And the story rocks.
