Theme: “Give life to an inanimate object”.

Create a piece of artwork centering around an inanimate object (chair, book, paintbrush, candle, whatever. Just nothing living...food is ok). There may be a background of some sort, but the piece must center upon one object, pair of objects, or group of related objects. The tricky part is that in creating this piece, you must bring life to your chosen inanimate object in some way. I do not want beautiful still lives of fruit in a basket...unless you take that basket of fruit and show it in a completely new and interesting light. Life can mean many things: movement, personality, or perhaps just a different way of portraying/capturing this object. Be creative and experiment! I know this will be a challenge...so the theme is very much open to interpretation. However, if you have any questions or are not sure if your deviation fits the theme, please note me. This contest is open to ALL mediums! (Lit could actually work very, very well...)

You must me in order to enter, if you haven’t already.
Two entries allowed per deviant. One entry MUST be new (uploaded on or before October 20) and the other may be old. Your entry must already be in your dA gallery at the time it is submitted to this contest.
Whether your entry is old or new, please mention me or this contest in the description (a link would be nice as well ).
No mature artwork. This includes anything with an 18+ warning or filter, or any work that is otherwise inappropriate.
To enter, you must send your entrie(s) to me via note, with something along the lines of “Contest Entry” in the subject box. Please include a thumb of or link to your piece in this note.

Prize list will be updated as I get donations. Please donate whatever prizes you can, from subscriptions to dA merchandise to commissions to journal features! ALL DONATORS will have artwork from their gallery featured in a news article after the contest is over.
