This fanfiction contest doesn't focus on word count so much as it does on skill, craft, and storytelling. The 'one-shot' is your chance to tell a story that is self-contained and can stand alone. There are no chapters, there are no sagas--one story.
Your piece must have 6,000 words or less. Please write it specifically for this contest--no old submissions!
Please check your spelling, your grammar, and make sure everything is tight and edited!
Anything goes, but please adhere to the deviantART policy as well as be respectful towards the fandom you are writing about.
You may choose ANY book/novel/TV show/Cartoon/Movie/Anime/Manga/Comic... you get it... as your topic!
NO CROSSOVERS PLEASE! You may use OCs if they fit completely within the dimension of your fandom.
