You've all seen those super-cool compilations containing photos of people with very strange things in their mouths. Or wait, that was a show on TV on one of the half-scrambled channels I was watching last night.. But you also might have been a witness or possibly even an unwilling participant of some of the past "community deviations" ran by ~iMike or *five, like Angry Key Deviants or Stealth Assassins or Toilet Paper Technicians or whatever the hell else those weirdos come up with on their drug binges. I know exactly how you felt when you saw those deviations; an initial feeling of "Wow, that's really cool!", followed by "Hehe, yeah these are pretty funny!", followed by "Damn, I wish I was cool enough to be in one of these!", followed usually by breaking down in tears and OD'ing on cough medicine. Fear not, fellow deviants! ~r0b, ~xshock, and the sober half of ~foalface are here to make you feel like a part of something important! And best of all, every one of you can participate. (Well, not EVERY single one, but most of you.) (Oh yeah, I'm assuming most of you work at McDonalds or at least are pirates or something.)


Everybody has fetishes. Be it an "I only use cameras that feel tough enough to kill a man" kind of thing, or "I won't sit in a chair unless it's made by a designer whose name is at least 12 letters long", or even "I eat red meat only on nights when the full moon lights up my Vanilla Ice full-size human figure such that you can see both his eyes but cannot tell whether or not they are actual human eyes obtained via eBay", there is something that tickles everyone's fancy in that special way.

But if there is one thing that everyone enjoys, it is uniforms. Schools, sports, and almost any profession out there has an identifiable uniform worn by all the members, and it is this incredible variety that makes uniforms so appealing to everyone. Wearing uniforms unites the people into honouring their origins, realizing that they all come from one place: Adam and Eve, who were the first humans to ever wear uniforms (you know, those leaf things). Now I know that you probably came here after searching for 'catholic schoolgirl uniform' on Google and did not expect a history lesson from a raving lunatic, but be patient, because the fun part is right ahead.


Alright, I was supposed to be already done with this damn article, so let's just get to it then. Uniforms! We might not like you, but we love your uniform. Whatever it is that you do behind closed doors is your business, but we here at devART like to involve the community into various strange activities. So come one, come all, and after you wipe it off, send us a photo of you in your uniform. We are looking forward to deviant waiters/waitresses, high-schoolers, janitors, doctors, football players, lawyers, pirates, ballerinas, dominatrices, furries, umm.... you see where I'm going with this. If you have a uniform of any sort, we want to see it. If you don't, you can just send a photo of yourself in weird-ass clothes. If you don't have those, go get some! Clothes, that is. Send yourselves to rob@foalface.com (resolution – 600x400) as an attachment or as a link no later than May 10th, 2003. Multiple submissions are more than welcome, just don't send ~r0b a 200 MB email. Don't forget to include your devART nickname! The photos will be compiled and posted some time after that, and released by r0b. We'll probably post a news article anyway, so you won't miss it.
