*childrensillustrator is a club for Children's Illustrators, that means people who illustrate for children. Professional Children's Book Illustrators, but also those who work for Editorial, Advertising, Television and Film, Graphics/Promotional/3-D, Fine Art, are welcomed as well as students and amateur illustrators. Our members use several mediums such as collage, mixed media, paint, pen & ink, pastel, silkscreen & fabric, watercolor, color pencil, pencil/graphite, and also the digital tool. The goal of this group is to help children's illustrators to create, to improve and to share in their field.

Each month, our members vote (by poll) for their preferred theme/topic. Usually they have 24 hours to of vote, and when it's done, they have until the 30 of each month to submit their brand new piece, related to the topic.

The chosen topic for October was Trick-or-treating and other misdemeanors, kids playing games and misbehaving with their friends!




What games did you used to play when you were little? Where you nice kids that used to play Tag and Hide and Seek or were you naughty and enjoyed waking up your neighbours at nap time with a little game of Ring and Run or Sardines?
