is optimistic and the imagery is inspiring.
No matter what, there is always light to
combat the darkness. There is always the sun,
the silent guardian to provide warmth.

This haiku is incredibly short but it
gets its point across. The theme is much like
a fairytale or a dream, beautiful and fleeting,
much like the format chosen to represent it.

portrayal of grief, steeped in sadness
without ever stating it. It builds in emotion
and pace, drawing the reader in. It is
carefully constructed, the repeated sentences

mind works. A truly moving piece.

The honestly and heart-wrenching sadness
in this piece makes you want to cry. To read
pieces of prose and relate and be touched by
them means a great deal. To see a person's
point of view as they see their family once
a parent leaves just makes it that much more
difficult and saddening. This is certainly
worth a read, even if you might cry a bit.
