The dA Scholars Project(dASP) is hosting a new feature for young artists who are going to or are planning to enter college for an art degree. Once a month we will showcase a talented young artist, complete with thumbs and an interview.
If you know an artist or would like to be featured, simply fill out the application below and send it in a
note to *
dA-ScholarsProject. We will only feature one artist a month, and the deadline to apply is the last Saturday of every month, at 11:59 EST. The winner will be posted in one week.
This month's deadline is: November 28thIf you don't make it, feel free to re-apply until you do! Though, once you win, you cannot re-apply. We want to give everyone an equal chance of winning.
Eligibility:
The artist may be in their last two years of highschool or a college undergraduate.
This means that a 40 year old college sophomore is just as eligible as a 17 year old highschool senior.

The artist must plan on or go to an accredited school.

The artist must pursue (or plan to pursue) an art degree.
An art degree also includes Graphic, Design, Culinary Arts, Photography, Creative Writing, etc.

The artist cannot have a previous Academic Artist's Feature.

How long have you been doing your art?
4-8 thumbs of your work with a short explanation(1-2) sentences
Once a month there will also be a special interview question. This month's special interview question is:
What are you especially thankful for? The dA Scholars Project(dASP) is a petition for a small (or large) Scholarship to be awarded from dA to a worthy applicant who plans on pursuing a degree in the Arts.

What if you been out of school for 4 years now and was never was able to get to collage become an undergraduate due to financial and personal issues. Dose it mean we can't apply?
