Since July, I have been working on writing my first comic book, The Deathlings: Anne's Story. Since August, I've had an incredible team of artists, including comics pros, working on the book-- All thanks to DeviantArt.

With the first issue almost done, and the preview webcomic now updating twice a week on The Official Website, I wanted to bring The Deathlings back to the community that made the book possible.

So I'm excited to announce our first official art contest. We will be welcoming all sorts of fan-art, cover mock-ups, character portraits, etc.



Grand Prize:
- Journal and Article feature by =ian-x
- Artwork prominently featured on our website, Twitter, and Facebook fanpage
- Three month DeviantArt membership (for you or someone of your choice)

Runners-Up:
- Artwork featured on our website, Twitter, and Facebook fanpage
- Small feature in Journal and Article announcing winners
- Critique by members of the Deathlings team

This contest is for amateurs and up-and-coming artists. However, if you are a comics professional, we always welcome any art contributions. (Including prominent logos, URLs, etc. to help promote your work.) Please send me a note if you would like to contribute.
